Location: Hybrid – two office days and three home days per week, with travel to client sites as required
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (based on experience) plus up to 15% OTE

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving client growth, managing campaigns, and building long-term partnerships across the FMCG sector.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving new business growth through pipeline management, outreach, and re-engaging lapsed FMCG clients.

  • Building our digital presence, especially on LinkedIn, to attract and win new clients.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for client campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget, and KPIs.

  • Liaising with field sales teams, retailers, and client stakeholders to ensure campaigns land effectively in-store.

  • Preparing tenders, proposals, and client-ready reports, analysing campaign data, and providing actionable recommendations.

  • Conducting store visits to keep up-to-date with category trends, retail execution, and competitor activity.

  • Ensuring data and feedback from field visits is captured accurately and used to enhance campaign performance.

About you:

  • Experience in a fast-paced business development or client-facing role, ideally within FMCG, retail or a related sector.

  • Strong commercial acumen with proven success in sales, client management, or new business prospecting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Highly organised, resilient, and proactive – able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and PowerPoint for presentations.

  • FMCG or retail sector experience is highly desirable.
